Green Canyon

Every Spring we can hardly wait til the weather is warm enough so that we can go up in the mountains.  We are so lucky to live so close to several beautiful canyons.  Towards the end of April the weather was nice and we decided to head up Green Canyon for a cook out.

  Being in the mountains is one of our favorite places.  the boys love the freedom of running and exploring, climbing up cliffs, looking for caves, finding big sticks for "weapons" and throwing rocks. They pretend they are Indians, army guys, cowboys, explorers... it is boy heaven!

We cooked hot dogs for dinner, Simon went on his first hike- up to the big cave, we relaxed and the boys loved it! We ended the evening with smores for dessert... it was one of those perfect nights!
